**Field Service Technician - Sparwood, BC**
**What’s the role?**
Reporting to the Store Manager, the **Field Service Technician**_ _**is responsible for responding to highway and after-hour calls on a rotational basis. They drive a Kal Tire road service vehicle fitted with all the necessary tools and equipment to provide excellent service to our customers by performing front shop service, off-site fleet service and roadside assistance.
Hours:
- Full Time, permanent position
- Over 40 hrs per week
- 7:45am-5:00pm Monday to Friday
- Rotating, On Call after-hours

**What kind of person are we looking for?**
- You’re interested in the automotive industry and like working within a high energy, fast paced team environment.
- You have the ability to access Teck/ Elk Valley Resources property.
- You have a strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve on the spot.
- You are comfortable and reliable working independently.
- You have at least 1 year of roadside service/ tire technician experience (preferred)
- You are comfortable driving and working at night as needed.
- You have a valid drivers license and a clean drivers abstract
- You like being active throughout your day and have no problem lifting 30-50 lb tires around as needed.
- You’re always safety conscious, wear your required PPE and follow safe work protocols as instructed.
