Lawn Care Manager

Bridgewater, Canada Fine Cuts Landscaping & Excavation Full time

Responsibilities:

- Supervise a crew consisting of 2-3 employees
- Maintain a consistent lawn care schedule & accurate record-keeping using provided documents
- Potential to train new employees on-site
- Provide basic lawn care services such as but not limited to fertilizer, weed control, aeration, liming, insect control, overseeding
- Analyze and provide recommendations to improve a customer’s lawn during mid-summer inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service to all customers & alert office of any service issues or customer inquiries that need to be addressed
- Alert manager of any equipment issues or breakdowns
- Maintain the cleanliness of truck and equipment
- completion of daily checklists
- Follow all employer policies, including dress code, driving, cellular phone use, Health, and Safety

**Requirements**:

- Must have a clean drivers abstract
- 40+ hours a week
- Experience working in a leadership role considered an asset
- Certificates and/or diploma as a horticulturist or landscape designer considered an asset
- Resolve any issues brought forward and problem solve for solution

Additional info
- Compensation will be based on level of experience and/ or certifications

**Salary**: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bridgewater, NS: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Landscape maintenance: 2 years (preferred)

Work Location: One location
