Aqua Fitness Instructor

AQUA FITNESS INSTRUCTOR
The Aqua Fitness Instructor will teach aquatic exercise classes to participants at Nottawasaga Inn and Resort. This position will promote health and wellness by providing fun and engaging exercise routines that are adaptable for all abilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct Aqua Fit classes as scheduled.
- Create routines for assigned classes and update regularly to incorporate current health and wellness
- Provide ideas and suggestions for class offerings.
- Monitor class participants and encourage safety and fun for the best experience.
- Maintain the necessary certifications to conduct aquatic exercise classes.
- Promote and communicate information for activities and events.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience instructing various aquatic and/or land exercise classes to adults of various ages and abilities.
- Certification for teaching Aqua Fit Classes i.e., Water Art, YMCA, Canadian Aquafitness Leaders Alliance
- Certified in First Aid CPR/AED
- Must be able to work various hours.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- 18 years and older.
- Ability to respond quickly, effectively, and calmly in emergency situations.
- Always maintain a professional image to the public.
- Communicate effectively. - Good organizational skills.

- Alliston, ON L9R 1A4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CPR/First Aid Certification (required)
