**Position Summary**

Loyalist College is actively seeking a collaborative leader to serve as their next **Dean, School of Applied Sciences, Skills and Technology.**

Reporting to the Senior Vice-President Academic, the **Dean, School of Applied Sciences, Skills and Technology** is accountable for contributing to the academic well-being and growth of the College and for providing academic and administrative leadership, supervision, support and direction to all faculty and staff in the School. The Dean is accountable for the planning, development, maintenance and ongoing quality review of the technology, skills and applied science full-time and part-time post-secondary programming offered within the School, ensuring the curriculum, and related vocational learning outcomes, meet or exceed the relevant external accreditation and licensing requirements. As the senior leader of the School, the Dean’s role is to be responsive to the needs of students, industry and the community, while aligning with the College’s strategic objectives. The Dean is also responsible for the applied research participation within the School and is accountable for the fiscal management of the School, including development of budgets and capital requests.
