We are hiring an IT Intern for our Pickering location. This is a 3-6 month contract position.
**Responsibilities**:
- Assess an in-place workflow and prepare organized and detailed documentation of the data processing (Gantt chart / workflow diagrams)
- Identify areas where the workflow can be simplified or improved
- Study how the workflow and data integrate with existing in-house business management software (Globetek Enterprise)
- Research / identify available management products to automate / simplify work processes required to manage the workflow and its integration with the in-house business management software
**Requirements and skills**
- Post Secondary education in IT, Computer Science or relevant field
- Practical understanding of business management solutions (ERP software)
- Experience with Database (Oracle SQL, Microsoft Access), Microsoft Office suite
- Experience working with inventory management and vendor consignment is an asset
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work individually as well as in a team environment
**Job Types**: Fixed term contract, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 3-6 months
