**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
- Inspect in-coming materials and report damages and discrepancies for accounting, reimbursement and record-keeping.
- Enter shipping and receiving data into JD Edwards inventory system to create Bill of Ladings.
- Assemble orders and prepare material for shipment.
- Record shipment data, including weight, charges, and space availability.
- Determine method, destination, route, rate, and time of shipment.
- Coordinate the activities of other workers engaged in handling goods to be shipped or being received.
- Interact with freight carriers to ensure on time deliveries to customers.
- May be responsible for the cleanliness of trucks and work area.
- Load trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirements.
- Load and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device.
- Monitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materials.
- Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules.
- Keep production lines supplied with raw materials.
- Inventory product as needed. And label, sort, wrap and tie product.
- Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Tap rail cars and coordinate with railroad on their movements.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
