Remanufacturing Intern

Take the next step in your career and put your skills to the test Come join Liebherr Canada in Burlington and gain valuable, hands on experience in the heavy equipment industry The Reman Intern will gain insight into the processes and strategies to improve efficiency and quality in our remanufacturing workshop. **This position is an 8-month internship role.**
**Responsibilities**:
- Quality management and improvement for inventory of core and production components.
- Lean manufacturing study and Implementation for engine build and test bench process.
- Development industrial floor plans for disassembly and assembly area to accommodate for new tooling and equipment.
- Review and improvement on documentation pertaining to ISO 9001:2015 certification.
- Management and review of bill of materials for production components.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Competencies**:
- 1-3 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
- Must be adaptable.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional communication skills.
