Night Houseperson

**NIGHT HOUSEPERSON**

SATURDAY & SUNDAY

9:00 PM TO 5:30 AM

**SUMMARY OF POSITION**:_The Night Security & Maintenance employee, reporting to the Houseman, is responsible for the overnight security and general maintenance of the Clubhouse, Pro Shop and Annex building._

**KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES**:

- Monitor premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors and windows.
- Communicate with the Clubhouse Manager at end of each shift any activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Secure the Clubhouse, Pro Shop and Annex buildings from intruders, fire and inclement weather by performing at least three security rounds per shift.
- Assist members and overnight guests at the Clubhouse with luggage, inquiries, and emergencies.
- Perform housekeeping duties as requested.
- Report any deficiencies, such as lights burnt out, broken windows, and other required repairs, in a timely manner to the Houseman.
- Assist other employees, when required.
- Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Clubhouse Manager or Houseman.
- Ensure that all Clubhouse policies and Health and Safety policies are adhered to in accordance with the standards established by the Club.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16-20 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Night Watch: 2 years (preferred)
