Educational Consultant

The Literacy Centre addresses the literacy and learning needs of children between 4 and 17 years of age. All counsellors will have his or her own roster of students to grow and make independent progress with.

We are currently looking for qualified counsellors to work Monday to Friday from 2:00-8:00 and Saturdays 9:00-2:00, providing remedial instruction in literacy, or math.

As learning requires a child be engaged both emotionally and cognitively, much of our work involves teaching children how to prepare their mindset for learning to occur.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Masters level education in Psychology or Education M.A., MSc., M.Ed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- Master's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
