Drywall Labourer

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Install drywall panels to walls and ceilings according to project specifications.
- Measure and cut drywall to fit specific dimensions.
- Secure drywall panels using nails, screws, or adhesive, ensuring a secure and level installation.
- Smooth out imperfections and remove excess compound to create a seamless surface.
- Tape and seal drywall joints to prevent cracks and ensure a uniform appearance.
- Sand surfaces to achieve a smooth finish, blending joints and edges seamlessly.
- Repair damaged drywall by patching holes, cracks, or other imperfections.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Drywaller, Mudder, and Taper or similar role.
- Proficiency in installing and finishing drywall to industry standards.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver heavy drywall panels.
- Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies in the field.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Certification or training in drywall installation and finishing.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to construction work.
- Experience operating drywall tools and equipment, such as trowels, sanders, and saws.
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
