**Your role and tasks**

Index is growing its team and looking for an SEM & SEO Specialist. Acting as a key role within the team, the position comprises a diverse set of tasks involving both SEM and SEO. Briefly, the SEM & SEO Specialist will implement and manage advanced digital marketing strategies and paid campaigns designed to achieve increased traffic, customer engagement, and ROI.
- Conduct keyword research and analysis
- Write creative text ads
- Create visuals for online advertisements
- Manage PPC accounts
- Analyze traffic quality with our AI platform and other traditional analytics tools
- Execute on-page and off-page SEO audits, oversee their implementation and ensure the growth of managed websites
- Understand the client's technical structure and give recommendations
- Provide training to clientss and partners
- Ensure the continuous improvement and development ofcompany processes
- Keep up to date with industry trends
- Provide training and support to new employees of the company
- Contribute to the company’s research and development activities (Company’s tools and AI platform)
- Ensure quality control (QA)
- Contribute to creativity sessions
- Get involved in teambuilding activities

**Qualifications required for this position**
- Valid work permit for Canada
- Minimum of 2 years experience in marketing and advertising
- Experience managing and optimizing Facebook & Google Ads campaigns (budgeting, new copy, targeting, A/B testing)
- Ability to analyze data and design experiments to test hypotheses
- Advanced knowledge in SEO, with examples of results obtained
- Bilingualism (French and English)
- Knowledge of best practices and tools (Keyword Tool, Google Analytics / Search Console, Moz, SEMrush, Majestic )
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Excellent copywriting skills (French and English)
- In-depth knowledge of advertising
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the Google suite
- Ability to work both independently and in a team, and to multitask several projects at once under tight deadlines

**What will set you apart**
- Google Certifications, Facebook Blueprint and other certifications
- Web design skills
- Certifications or experience in other technology or web marketing fields
- Proficiency in a 3rd language (Mandarin, Portuguese, Spanish, or another language)
- University degree in communication, marketing, journalism, mathematics, statistics or a related discipline
- Passion for the Web and new technologies
- Familiar with the agency ecosystem
