Custodian/janitor

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Cleans and sanitizes, sweeps, dusts, mops, washes floors, walls, equipment etc. Cleans windows, mirrors, woodwork, furniture, and other surfaces Cleans washroom facilities and shower rooms Supplies toilet paper, paper towels, soap and other hygiene items Empties trash bins and dispose of trash in the garbage compactor on site Clean, sterilizes and/or disinfects areas Cleans, sterilizes and/or disinfects equipment before and after each use Performs more extensive cleaning, stripping and waxing floors Maintains janitorial supplies in janitor room and janitorial carts Follows established procedures and record keeping for inventory tracking Lifts and moves furniture as required Performs laundry service as required Complies with all prescribed sanitization and building disinfecting protocols

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$21.51 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saskatoon, SK S7M 1N5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
