_**IOOF Seniors Homes Inc. has been serving the needs of seniors in Ontario for over 100 years. It is committed to serving seniors through the development of new and innovative concepts in support programs, health care services and housing initiatives. The IOOF is a non-profit charitable organization currently operating several facilities located in Barrie, Ontario.**_
- **The IOOF has recently embarked on the largest capital project in its history, with the launch of a $1.2 million redevelopment campaign to expand the facility to a 226-bed long-term care home. This transformative revitalization will create 64 new long-term care beds and 66 upgraded beds, modern spaces, updated equipment, private rooms, and increased square footage.**_

Reporting to the Director of Resident Care, the Assistant Director of Resident Care (temporary) coordinates, implements and evaluates facility and Resident Care activities and staffing services in the Home, pursuant to current legislative and corporate mandates. The Assistant Director of Resident Care is primarily responsible for the organization, co-ordination and management of day-to-day Resident Care Services for the Long Term Care Facility.

**Education & Experience**:

- Undergraduate Degree in Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN) required Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Post graduate studies in Geriatric and Nursing Administration and/or Long Term Care Management from an accredited College and/or University preferred
- Four (4) years related experience in a Long Term Care facility
- Two (2) years’ leadership experience in a similar position in a not-for-profit health care facility or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with the Long-Term Care Home admission, discharge and transfer processes preferred.
- Proficient in Point Click Care and Point of Care
- Developed understanding of information technology in nursing and charting.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary

**Salary**: $101,000.00-$121,500.00 per year
