Maintenance Lead

**Reporting To**: Facility Manager

**Core Purpose of Job**: Troubleshoot, repair, replace and install any component of the Facility’s HVAC equipment including but not limited to chillers, boilers, colling towers, heat pump, VFD.

**Scope of Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Lead summer-cooling and winter-heating changeovers.
- Maintain mechanical tools and test equipment
- Read and interpret as built drawings and provide repair and adjustments to the mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot, repair or replace a wide range of HVAC equipment including chiller, boiler, cooling tower, heat pump, VFD, heat exchangers, condensers
- Make recommendation based on the Planned Preventive Maintenance programs
- Maintain records and information pertinent to work assignment;
- Run diagnosis for BAS and DDC devices
- Perform all other related tasks as assigned by Facility Manager and/or other senior management

**Essential Requirements**:

- 5+ years of work experience in facility maintenance or operations and sound technical knowledge regarding mechanical systems
- Refrigeration Red Seal Certification
- G1/G2 Gas Certification.
- Working knowledge in BAS and CMMS (preferably Archibus)
- Able to read and interpret drawings, circuit diagrams and code specifications.
- Possess a Province of Ontario driver’s license in good standing.
- Computer literacy including MS word, BAS and CMMS
- Ability to meet security clearance requirement
- Strong customer service, communication skills
- Able to work independently with mínimal direction and able to respond to emergency situations
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize work in order to deliver successful results within agreed timeframes
- Able to foster a culture of continuous improvement and customer service excellence within the service delivery team.
- Able to work in various hours and shifts, to be able to travel across assigned portfolios using company vehicles.
