Barback/busser

We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Barbacks/Bussers. As a Barback/Busser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our bar or restaurant. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting bartenders and servers, maintaining cleanliness, and restocking supplies. This position is vital in providing excellent customer service and creating a positive experience for our patrons.

**Responsibilities**:
Support Bartenders and Servers: Assist bartenders and servers in preparing and serving beverages, ensuring they have the necessary supplies, glassware, and garnishes.

Restock Supplies: Monitor inventory levels of beverages, glassware, straws, napkins, and other necessary items. Restock as needed to ensure continuous service and minimize downtime.

Clean and Sanitize: Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including wiping down surfaces, polishing glassware, and ensuring cleanliness of utensils and equipment.

Clear and Reset Tables: Clear and clean tables promptly after guests have left, ensuring all dishes, glassware, and debris are properly removed. Set up tables for the next guests.

Trash and Recycling: Regularly empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring they are properly disposed of and the area remains clean and presentable.

Assist with Food Service: Help with food service by delivering orders to tables, refilling condiments, and ensuring tables are properly set with utensils, napkins, and any required extras.

Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing assistance when needed and answering basic questions about the menu or establishment.

Follow Safety Guidelines: Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling of glassware, use of gloves, and safe lifting techniques.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with bartenders, servers, and other staff members to ensure smooth operations and provide excellent customer service.

Additional Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by the management team to contribute to the overall success of the establishment.

**Requirements**:
Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy kegs, moving equipment, and standing for extended periods.

Efficiency and Multitasking: Strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks effectively and multitasking when necessary.

Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bar area and tables.

Team Player: Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and provide support wherever needed.

Customer Service Orientation: Friendly and approachable demeanor with a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Adaptability: Willingness to work in a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in the bar or restaurant industry.

Minimum Age Requirement: Must meet the legal age requirement for handling and serving alcoholic beverages in the relevant jurisdiction.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

- Every Weekend
- Weekends as needed
