The Congregation of the Sisters of St. Joseph in Canada has locations in London and Peterborough. We are currently looking for a Casual Cook/Dietary Aide to join our team in our Dietary Department at our Peterborough location. This position will be scheduled as needed. In addition to the regular shifts this position will require the incumbent to cover a variety of shifts regarding vacation, sick time, holidays, and special events. The shifts vary in length from 4 hours, 7 hours and 8 hours. The role includes tasks such as cooking, assisting with meal preparation, assisting in the dining room, dishes, assisting serving with breakfast, serving beverages, meals etc., and receiving orders.

We operate in a _team environment _and it is important that the incumbent be capable of helping in all areas of the kitchen.

Experience with working in a Healthcare facility is appreciated, understanding textures and variable health concerns. Food Handlers Certificate is expected.
