Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Fundraiser to join our team. As a Fundraiser, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's fundraising efforts. Your primary responsibility will be to raise funds through various channels and initiatives to support our mission and programs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute fundraising plans and strategies to meet targets and organizational objectives.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and other potential funding sources.
- Coordinate fundraising events, including but not limited to galas, auctions, and community outreach programs.
- Collaborate with the executive team and program staff to effectively communicate the impact and outcomes of the organization's equine therapy programs to stakeholders and funders.
- Create compelling marketing materials, including digital content, press releases, and promotional materials, to raise awareness and attract support for the organization.
- Create compelling fundraising materials, including solicitation letters, grant proposals, and donor communications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor records and databases.
- Provide stewardship to donors, including acknowledgment letters, regular updates, and recognition opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising activities and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed about trends and best practices in fundraising and philanthropy.

**Qualifications**:

- Educational background in nonprofit management, fundraising, communications, or a related field
- Proven experience in fundraising, donor relations, or sales, preferably in a nonprofit or social impact organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Passion for the organization's mission and commitment to making a positive impact in the community.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and donor meetings.
