Assistant Manager

**Description**:
- Required to greet and serve clients
- Must be able to handle customer requests
- An assistant manager is responsible for supporting the manger with daily administrative and employee staffing tasks.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to solve problems autonomously
- Studying market research and trends to determine and forecast customer demands, potential sales volumes, and competitor sale
- Acting as the liaison and partner between customers, sales associates, and leadership teams
- Answering questions from employees, and giving feedback and suggestions to improve productivity
- Restocking shelves, and reordering products and supplies when needed
- Using cash registers and equipment specific to the industry
- Plan, distribute and supervise the work to be done by employees under your responsibility
- To see to the opening and closing and to ensure that the store is well run and clean
**Requirements**:
- High school education
- Minimum: 2 years of experience in retail
- Basic computer knowledge: Word, Excel & QuickBooks
- Basic business understanding
- Capable of supervising and guiding staff
- Quick-thinking skills to use the best judgment in fast-paced environments
- Independence to work alone without extensive direction
- Strong interpersonal skills to create relationships with both customers and the team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- An understanding of the services or products that the business sells and the industry that it works in
**Vacation**: 4 weeks off yearly (2 in the winter, 2 in the summer)
**Language**: French (Advanced) English (intermediate)

**Description**:

- Un directeur adjoint est chargé de soutenir le gestionnaire dans les tâches administratives quotidiennes et de dotation en personnel.

- Étudier les études de marché et les tendances pour déterminer et prévoir les demandes des clients, les volumes de ventes potentiels et les ventes des concurrents
- Agir en tant que liaison et partenaire entre les clients, les vendeurs et les équipes de direction
- Répondre aux questions des employés et donner des commentaires et des suggestions pour améliorer la productivité
- Réapprovisionner les rayons et réorganiser les produits et les fournitures en cas de besoin
- Utilisation des caisses enregistreuses et des équipements spécifiques à l'industrie
- Planifier, répartir et superviser le travail à effectuer par les employés sous votre responsabilité
- De voir à l'ouverture et à la fermeture et de s'assurer que le magasin est bien tenu et propre
**Exigences**:
- Éducation de l’école secondaire
- Minimum : 2 ans d'expérience dans le commerce de détail
- Connaissances informatiques de base : Word, Excel et QuickBooks
- Compréhension commerciale de base
- Capable de superviser et de guider le personnel
- Réflexion rapide pour utiliser le meilleur jugement dans des environnements au rythme rapide
- Capable d’être indépendant pour travailler seul sans direction approfondie
- Solides compétences interpersonnelles pour créer des relations avec les clients et l'équipe
- Solides compétences en communication écrite et verbale
- Une compréhension des services ou des produits que l'entreprise vend et de l'industrie dans laquelle elle travaille
**Vacances**: 4 semaines de congé par an (2 en hiver, 2 en été)
