Key Account Inside Sales Representative, Cell

**Job Description Summary**:
Are you ready to take charge of your scientific sales career and join our dynamic team? STEMCELL Technologies is looking for a 1 year parental leave coverage for a Key Account Inside Sales Representative, Cell Culture.
In this role you will be responsible for diversifying revenue streams within Key Accounts and oversee the identification and onboarding of new business accounts. As a trusted collaborator with our customers you will develop customer relationships and loyal repeat customers through excellent customer service, scientific support, and strategic sales tactics. You’ll work closely with our Key Account Managers to provide up-to-date market research and strategic planning for accounts strategic to STEMCELL’s growth, developing targeted sales plans to help our customers achieve success.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Identify and target potential new customers in key and biotech accounts through proactive prospecting, effective networking and staying current with Key Accounts to achieve revenue targets
- Effectively work and communicate with other STEMCELL business functions to provide company-wide support to key accounts
- Work with Key Account managers to provide premium service levels to key accounts and organize customer facing events (webinars, seminars, training etc) that generate new leads and revenue
- Rigorously document communications and keep up to date the customer relationship management (CRM) database
**Knowledge and Qualifications**
- Requires a post-secondary degree in the Life Sciences with experience in Sales tactics and strategy (BSc with 4 to 6+ years of relevant experience. MSc or PhD with 1 to 2+ years of relevant experience)
- Strong time management and organizational skills, along with experience in active listening, objection handling, prospecting, and tactical sales decisions are preferred
- Experience with Cell Culture is strongly preferred

The annual base salary for this job ranges from:
$87,700.00 - $131,500.00
STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
