**Who We’re Looking For**

We’re looking for a creative content creator to join our exceptional marketing team You will be responsible for planning, ideating and creating videos and live streams for Youtube, Tiktok, Twitch, and Instagram (Stories/Reels) to tell our story to different target markets, and to help us build a strong Nanoleaf community on social media. You will also be challenged to create unboxing and tutorial videos of our products with the injection of fun to keep traditionally boring videos entertaining to watch.

To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of how to shoot a video from scratch, writing scripts, video editing, and knowledge of different social media video formats (i.e. horizontal, vertical, square, etc.) and how to adapt a single piece of content into these various formats. You must also have the creative knack for brainstorming video ideas and be able to consistently think outside of the box. You will be required to be on camera for a majority of videos and streams, so it is critical that you are comfortable on camera.

**What You’ll Do**

The Video Content Creator will be working as part of the Marketing team, reporting directly to the Creative Director. Your key area of focus will be around all things videos, ideating, storyboarding, shooting, editing and posting etc. You will be working with a team on larger campaign videos, while taking on smaller projects such as unboxing or tutorials independently with support from your team lead as needed. A typical week will include 1-2 unboxing / tutorial / social media videos, 1 Twitch stream per week, and sometimes 1 or 2 brainstorming sessions with the marketing team for campaign/video ideas.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create high-quality short form Instagram Stories/Reels, Tiktok videos and other content for Facebook, Twitter, YouTube on a daily basis
- Create entertaining long form tutorial videos, unboxings, and other content to clearly showcase various features of our products
- Create ads from existing content for various channels and formats
- Create retail supporting videos to showcase use-cases of our products
- Edit images in Photoshop or Figma for social graphics and YouTube thumbnails
- Create sales support case study b-roll videos/photos
- Running Twitch streams and IG Lives (behind and in front of camera)
- Working under the guidance of the Creative Director to plan, shoot and edit videos for ads, and Keynote events
- Assist with other marketing tasks as needed
- Assist with social media activity or management as needed

**Requirements**:

- 2-3 years experience creating video content
- Ability to successfully produce & shoot short videos/photos/ads/projects within set deadlines
- Ability to script, plan, shoot and edit engaging and visual media; excellent editing is a must, as well as the ability to format for all social channels if needed
- Experience in using programs like Final Cut Pro X or Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma
- Proficient DSLR camera skills
- Ability to have an approachable and comfortable presence on camera
- Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
- Lead the video content planning for marketing campaigns
- Excellent creativity and story-telling skills
- Attention to detail
- Desire for continuous improvement & learning
- Team player who is willing to provide assistance whenever and wherever needed

**Preferred**:

- Smart home technology knowledge
