- The CIUSSS de l'Ouest-de-l'Ile-de-Montréal is actively seeking a cook on the recall list for Lasalle Hospital.
- Do you want to make a difference by improving the quality of life of our patient through your cooking?
- We are looking for you
- Your functions:
- You will collaborate in the design of the menus; prepare, season, cook, portion and freeze food and ensure the quality and optimal use of food.
- You will participate in the supply and management of food, the distribution of meals and the maintenance of its work area.
- You will receive, verify, store and collaborate in the maintenance of the inventory of foodstuffs.
- You will respond to food orders from units (food requests, lunch boxes, barbecues, etc.), prepare and clean vegetables, fruits and other foods and portion them according to established standards.
- You will also participate in the distribution of meals (cafeteria and carts).

More than a job, a work environment that encourages your professional and personal progress in a friendly environment- Requirements :- Possesses a diploma of professional studies in institutional cooking from a school recognized by the Quebec Ministry of Education;
- Has recent experience in food service deemed relevant;
- Has knowledge of the rules of hygiene and food safety;
- Has the attestation of hygiene and food safety training (MAPAQ), an asset;
- Knows and understands the concepts associated with priority management, quality of work, teamwork, collaboration and interpersonal communications, as well as customer service.
- Must also be interested in working as a Food Service Attendant.
