Work Hours:40 Hours per Week

**Profile**:
Based in Ontario and founded in 2012, Synergy is a turnkey COR certified company. Focusing on the design, construction and activation of telecommunication and Utility infrastructure. Specializing in Directional drilling, Hydro vac, cable placement, design, fibre splicing and system activation.

Synergy underground utilities is currently looking for an experienced Material/Yard Coordinator. Reporting to the Material Manager you will be responsible for maintaining customer and internal inventory. Update material data bases as required, work with yard employees to ensure data is entered and processes are being followed correctly.

**Major Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the shipping and receiving of materials.
- Operate Backhoe and skid steer.
- Assist technicians with preparing material requirements for daily activities.
- Ensure all materials including our customers are stored in a safe environment and are tracked and accounted for.
- Ensure our equipment is available to the right people at the correct time in a safe working condition.
- Oversees the daily activities of the warehouse/yard area, including labor, scheduling, and space utilization.
- Update Manager with material requirements to support production needs.
- Participates in inventory process - investigates count variances to understand the cause and implement corrective actions and provides leadership and direction for all operations in the areas of shipping and production.
- Maintains a clean and organized yard and warehouse.

**Qualifications & Requirements**:

- 5 years material coordination experience.
- Forklift License.
- Must be proficient in the use of computers and have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and management both internally and externally. Excellent English written and oral communications skills
- Leadership skills should be highly developed, along with excellent interpersonal skills
- Supply chain management certification or designation preferred.
- Familiar with Rogers NIM system is an asset.
- The team member frequently is required to stand (sometimes for extended periods); walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms, and lift up to 50 pounds. The team member may, at times, sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead.
