Job Overview:
As an Environmental Scientist, you will be part of our Brownfield Assessment and Development team supporting assessment and remediation projects for clients in northeast British Columbia. You will be working a combination of office and fieldwork with a 20/80 split.

As an Environmental Scientist, you will be responsible for:

- Developing work plans and cost estimates for Phase 2 ESA's and remediation projects.
- Planning, organizing and executing field programs for Phase 1 and 2 ESA's and remediation projects, including soil and groundwater assessments.
- Working with contractors to implement ESA and remediation projects.
- Accurate field cost tracking of expenses and contractors.
- Compilation and interpretation of the data collected and report writing.
- Other duties as assigned.

- A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in environmental sciences or similar.
- Eligibility for membership in a professional organization such as AIA, ASPB, or APEGA/EGBC.
- A minimum of four years of directly related experience in executing and managing site assessments and reclamation, focusing on the oil and gas industry would be an asset.
- Clear effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel.
- Excellent safety attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting and independently.
- A valid, non-GDL Class 5 Drivers license.
- You must be able to meet the requirements of site access as dictated by our clients, which may include pre-access drug and fitness testing.
