**The challenge**:
Ensure the efficient and timely movement of materials throughout the manufacturing process, contributing to the success of production operations and the overall productivity of the facility.

**What you'll do**:

- Accept deliveries of raw materials, components, and supplies from vendors or other departments and verifying the accuracy of the shipment against purchase orders or packing slips
- Organize and store materials in designated storage areas, including warehouses, shelves, or racks, according to organizational standards
- Retrieve materials from storage locations as needed to fulfill production orders, using material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
- Transport materials to production areas or workstations using safe and efficient methods, ensuring that the right materials are delivered to the right location at the right time
- Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking quantities, locations, and movement of materials, and conducting regular inventory counts or audits to reconcile discrepancies
- Operate material handling equipment safely and proficiently, following manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols, and performing routine maintenance and inspections as needed
- Package finished products or materials for shipment according to customer specifications or shipping requirements, including labeling packages with relevant information
- Inspect materials for damage or defects, reporting any issues to supervisors to ensure product quality and compliance with standards
- Adhere to safety regulations and procedures for material handling activities to prevent incidents, injuries, and damage to materials, equipment, or facilities
- Collaborate with other stakeholders to coordinate material flow and support production schedules and priorities

**What you'll have**:

- At least 2 years of related experience is preferred
- Proficiency in operation material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. safely and efficiently
- Ability to accurately track and record inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials, using manual tracking methods
- Skill in determining the best methods for loading and unloading materials onto trucks, shelves, or storage racks to optimize space and ensure safe handling
- Knowledge of different types of materials, including raw materials, components, and finished products, and their handling requirements
- Ability to inspect incoming materials for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report issues. To supervisors
- Understanding of and adherence to safety regulations and procedures for material handling operations to prevent incidents, injuries, and damage to materials or equipment
- Strong English communication and collaboration skills
- Exemplary organizational skills with task prioritization, multi-tasking, and time-management techniques
- Ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, and think critically
- Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and accountability
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- Ability to deal with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
