The Bike Repair Technician is responsible for selling and repairing bikes as required.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Ensure Front Row repair protocol is consistently followed
- Assist customers with the fitting of new bike equipment (understand different types fit for different types of bikes)
- Effectively communicate to cashier services performed and necessary charges
- Assemble various types of bicycles in accordance with Manufacturer’s specifications to produce a safe bike
- Monitor inventory, tools and parts to ensure availability for bike departments
- Communicate with order desk when products are needed
- Repair and service bikes in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean and tidy work environment for safety reasons
- Travel back and forth between stores
- Available to work a variety of hours, which may include mornings, evenings and weekends
- Other duties as assigned

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Must have at least 1 year’s experience in bike building and bike repairs on all types on bikes (some exceptions may apply)
- Ability to handle pressure and multiple/strict deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, friendly and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service
- Maintain a professional attitude with customers and fellow employees
- Ability to work accurately and safely
- Previous sales experience an asset
- Familiar with a POS system an asset
- Strong communication skills
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas

Essential functions:

- Ability to stand for most of your shift, handle loud noises

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
