**Tasks and Responsibilities**:

**1**. Carefully pack, load, unload, and deliver all meals prepared and packaged at the kitchen to various partner locations.

**2**. Follow food safety rules and takes precautions to ensure that meals are delivered in a safe and clean manner.

**3**. Collect and keeps track of delivery containers sent to various locations.

**4**. Pick up groceries, donations and other items as needed.

**5**. Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to all locations.

**6**. Review routes and schedules and discuss route optimisation with the Operations Head.

**7**. Manage multiple orders and delivery locations at the same time.

**8**. Take initiative to contact relevant partner or Food for Thought personnel in case of late or difficulty in delivery.
- **Client Interactions**_: _

**1. **Engage and interact with our distribution partners on a regular basis during deliveries to ensure their satisfaction and report any feedback.

**2. **Maintains a positive and cheerful attitude during all client interactions.
- **Vehicle Maintenance and Upkeep**:_

**1. **Ensure that the organization’s vehicles are clean and kept in good condition.

**2. **Ensure safety of all equipment and passengers in the vehicle.

**3. **Ensure that only passengers required for delivery are on board.

**4. **Keep proof of all expenses and submit them to the accounting department.
- **Other tasks**:_

**1. **Help with food packaging as needed.

**2. **Sorting and organizing deliveries and other items.

**3. **Help with day to day clean up, maintenance and general upkeep.

**4. **Help organize the food packaging area with the rest of the packaging team.

**5. **Maintain positive and meaningful communications.

**6. **Understand food safety principles and adhere to those practices.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- A Valid Class G Drivers License
- Bilingual (French) is an asset
- Maintain a good driving record
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs
- Detail oriented and organized
- Strong interpersonal skills including verbal and written communications
- Ability to navigate the vehicle through different locations across the city
- Safely operates the vehicle in all weather conditions.

We anticipate a morning, afternoon, and week-end shifts. These are to be set and assigned. No night shifts are anticipated.

**Salary**: From $18.60 per hour
