**Job Overview**:
Southcan Electric is seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. As a Journeyman Electrician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality electrical services to residential, commercial, and solar clients across Manitoba. **Responsibilities**:
**Electrical Installation & Maintenance**:

- Perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently and safely.

**Code Compliance**:

- Ensure all work adheres to Manitoba’s electrical code and safety standards.
- Conduct inspections to verify compliance and safety of electrical systems.

**Project Execution**:

- Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and job specifications to determine project requirements.
- Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to complete projects on time and within budget.

**Supervision & Training**:

- Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices and junior team members.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.

**Safety Standards**:

- Adhere to Southcan Electric’s safety protocols and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and maintain a safe worksite according to Core

**Customer Service**:

- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Represent Southcan Electric with professionalism and integrity.

**Qualifications**:

- Certified Journeyman Electrician in Manitoba
- Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant electrical experience.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
- Proficiency in using electrical tools, equipment, and diagnostic instruments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Willingness to work on weekends and overtime, as required.
- Ability to travel and work out of town on project assignments.
