**About the role**

Nous cherchons un Conseiller en Prévention des sinistres pour notre équipe grandissante en Assurance des particuliers

**Ce que vous accomplirez chez nous**:

- Être responsable de la conduite des inspections et des évaluations légères à complexes (à distance) en se concentrant sur les améliorations requises en matière de risques.
- Formuler des recommandations basées sur votre expertise technique afin de réduire ou d'atténuer les risques et d'avoir un impact positif sur le taux de pertes des entreprises.
- Rédiger de rapports concis qui communiquent les caractéristiques de base des risques et un aperçu des principales opérations et expositions.
- Signaler les conditions qui représentent des causes potentielles de sinistres et qui devraient être améliorées afin d’éviter les sinistres ou de limiter les pertes, notamment en ce qui concerne l’entretien du bâtiment, les risques d’incendie, les risques de dégâts d’eau, la protection contre l’incendie, les mesures contre l’intrusion, les risques en responsabilité civile, etc.
- Déterminer les mesures et les stratégies d’amélioration en formulant des recommandations cohérentes visant à réduire les risques.
- Promouvoir les bénéfices reliés aux recommandations de prévention et l’utilisation de mesures adéquates en sécurité et protection des biens.
- Appuyer et orienter les assurés et/ou les courtiers dans le suivi des recommandations, agir comme personne-ressource en collaborant et en offrant une assistance technique en prévention des sinistres.
- Établir et maintenir une relation de collaboration avec les souscripteurs.
- Rédiger des lettres, rapports et courriels nécessaires au bon fonctionnement des processus établis.
- Participer au développement ou offrir ses commentaires pour la révision de nos formulaires, produits et normes.
- Participer à la diffusion d'information à caractère technique.
- Veiller à l'amélioration continue et l'optimisation de nos lignes directrices et processus.

**Ce que vous mettrez à profit**:

- DEC technique en mécanique du bâtiment, prévention des incendies ou tout autre domaine connexe
- Au moins 2 ans d’expérience pertinente en assurance de dommages
- Expérience en inspection des risques dans le domaine de l’assurance est considérée comme un atout
- Détenir le titre de PAA, FPAA, TPI, TAPI ou CRM est considéré comme un atout
- Être membre de l’Association des professionnels du chauffage (APC) est considéré comme un atout
- Excellent sens de l’observation avec de solides capacités d'analyse, de résolution de problèmes et de prise de décision
- Capacité et facilité de persuasion auprès de la clientèle
- Faire preuve de leadership, débrouillardise, bon jugement, autonomie, sens de l’initiative et de l’organisation pour le suivi des dossiers
- Excellentes habiletés interpersonnelles de communication et de collaboration
- Capacité à favoriser le changement et de s’adapter à un environnement en constante évolution
- Bilingue (français et anglais) - Nécessité d’interagir sur une base régulière avec une clientèle anglophone et des collègues partout au pays
