Our school is looking for passionate, energetic and skilled individuals who enjoy working with children and making a positive impact on their lives. We are looking for an educator who will be working as a one-on-one support we are being funded through Richmond Development Agency for this position. You will be responsible to work with the child that is requiring support and follow the child's program that is written out by Consultant. We would like the educator to be inclusive which means that the child being worked with is within the group setting. The educator is part of ratio in the program and helping to enhance the child's skills and interests.

Qualifications:
Early Childhood license to practice in BC

1-3 year experience is a minimum requirement

First-Aid

Criminal Record Check

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up daily activities in the classroom based on children's and child's interest
- Guide groups of children on a journey of knowledge, developing them into well-rounded individuals.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the student's needs and capabilities.
- Provide developmentally appropriate activity.
- Positive guidance techniques
- Provide snacks and lunches
- Daily communications with families
- Daily house keeping duties
- Safe and ongoing supervision of children inside and outside the classrooms
- Documenting children's learning by creating documentation panels within a month of children's engagement.
- Creating relationships with children and responding to children's ques
- Following the child's transdisciplinary team goals
- Having meetings with consultant and behavior interventionists
- Building relationship with the child worked
- Inclusive work with the child and the group
- Rotational shift
- Preparing morning and afternoon snack in accordance with the monthly menu.
- Washing and sanitizing daily furniture and materials that belong to the center.

**Salary**: $23.50 per hour
