We at Trudell Healthcare Solutions are looking for a Demand Planner to join our team to assist with ensuring our organization meets future demand of our products as well as analyze our inventory flow to develop forecasting models to support our customer’s needs. **The Position**:As the Demand Planner, you will be responsible for conducting forecast analysis, inventory analysis, supplier performance evaluations, as well as reporting to support operational efficiency to meet/exceed business KPl's. You will determine optimal stock levels given the organization’s constraints (space, supply uncertainty, demand uncertainty, contract penalties and item criticality) by actively collaborating with cross functional teams to ensure optimized inventory levels that meet business objectives. A key responsibility will be monitoring and communicating backorders to the appropriate stakeholders. You will analyze the demand forecast for key determinants of purchase, with the goal of advancing a predictive analytics model for Trudell Healthcare Solutions. You will produce and execute a production schedule for limited items for the THS custom pack program. In addition, you will monitor unanticipated changes in customer purchasing behaviour and coordinate responses (either through increased purchases, decreased purchases, or supplier returns).

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Create forecast for consumable products (non-capital sales) based on historical data and future-oriented adjustments. Future oriented adjustment will be based on inputs from Marketing, Sales, and Quotes & Contracts departments.
- Monitor actual sales with the goal of adapting the forecast to the actual purchase actions of customers.
- Analyze the demand forecast for trends and key determinants of purchase.
- Recommend and set appropriate stock level targets given business constraints and market realities (demand volatility, contractual obligations, supplier performance).
- Provide input and expertise into the creation of inventory management policies around obsolescence, stock/non-stock, and item criticality levels.
- Coordinate component requirements for Custom Kit products.
- Produce and execute production schedule.
- Produce and compile regular reports on inventory balance, health of inventory, obsolesces, inventory risk, or as required by the Manager
- Produce or compile regular reports on key supplier performance metrics, or as required by the Manager.
- Ensure communication is effective and appropriate personnel are advised of delays, outstanding needs, or conflicts as required.
- Monitor and communicate backorders and supply distributions as requested by the Manager.
- Ensure cooperation with special projects as required.
- Post-secondary education in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ Planning experience in a Health Care or Consumer Packaged Goods environment.
- Highly skilled in analytics.
- Demonstrated proficiency in statistics and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts.
- Knowledge and experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning software.
- Strong MS Office skills and ability to work with Excel at an advanced level.
- Excellent problem solving, communication and organization skills.
- Proven ability to make continuous improvements and lead change.
- Demonstrated ability to learn information on the job; product knowledge will need to be acquired.
- APICS certification would be considered an
