**Position Responsibilities**
- Assist parents in developing problem-solving and coping skills by providing supportive counseling and/or referring them to appropriate community agencies.
- Facilitate educational workshops such as behavior management, parenting skills, household management, etc.
- Timely reporting and case documentation in an electronic database management system
- Collaborate with team members to complete recruitment and client assessments/ registration Plan and implement program within a specified budget and guidelines
- Maintain participant files in accordance with funder and YMCA guidelines.
- Collect data, including outcomes, to inform and contribute to the development of funder and YMCA reports.
- Consult, communicate and collaborate with other programs and leadership staff, as necessary, regarding case management, service delivery and critical issues.

**What You’ll Need**
- Bachelor degree in human services related field (such as education, social work, human ecology) or equivalent combination of experience and education required (i.e. BSW and 3 years' experience in the field)
- A minimum of 2 years’ work experience working directly with families
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle where required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention and Suicide Intervention Certification preferred
- Able to obtain a Police Information Check and Vulnerable sector
