The Original FARM is a leading cannabis retailer that empowers the customer to take the best-informed decision by delivering a thoughtful and innovative customer experience. We are cannabis educators, sharing our passion and acquired knowledge with every customer.

We are looking for the next great addition to our team, in the role of **District Manager **. You will leverage your knowledge of the business to effectively execute strategies to ensure operational excellence, impeccable merchandising execution, maximize productivity and revenue growth. You will drive high performance across all initiatives and ensure consistency within your portfolio as measured by company goals and KPIs that drive a profitable portfolio. You will lead, develop, coach and inspire the stores’ teams to deliver an optimal customer and employee experience. Your goal is to lead execution and support the brand and company vision, ensuring your teams are delivering the desired results.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Drive the multi-channel revenue of the store and control the operational expenses
- Ensure product inventory accuracy and a seamless and efficient execution of all product related processes
- Assist with developing & improving processes to enhance retail efficiency
- Oversee all stores, providing training, coaching and performance management to store managers
- Ensure all store locations are operating in a manner which meets Provincial and Federal Legislation compliance requirements
- Ensure all stores are appropriately staffed based on hours of operations and business needs
- Ensure that the stores schedules reflect the business needs as well as the staffing levels required
- Workforce planning, payroll and scheduling approval
- Ensure all cannabis regulatory documents are compliant as required, consistently, in all stores
- Ensure the policies and procedures are clearly explained and are being executed
- Development and continual enhancement of the training programs
- Communicate clearly, consistently and in a timely manner to all stores as required of any changes in processes and ensure timely and accurate implementation
- Champion the company culture of highest standards for customer service and performance
- Drive the recruiting and hiring of top talent
- Undertake other duties as directed by the company and aligned to the business needs

- Vice President of Operations

**Direct Reports**:

- Store Manager
- Matrix reporting for Senior Inventory Manager, Educational Training Manager during specific projects

**Qualifications**:

- 3+ years’ experience in multi unit specialty (CPG) retail management with sales over $25M
- Demonstrated people leadership skills, full employment cycle and performance management
- Exceptional organizational & planning skills including attention to detail
- Experience in change management and program implementation
- Proven experience in building successful teams and a positive work environment
- Highly developed communication & interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and interact comfortably with a wide range of levels in the organization: from senior executives to support staff within and outside of the company.
- Self-motivated and able to motivate others by maintain a positive attitude work environment
- Proven ability to prioritize work and pivot focus in alignment to the business needs
- Selling it Right certificate is required for this role.
