The HSE Administrator is responsible for providing administrative and technical safety support to the company to ensure the success of the CT&V safety program. This position will be based out of our Saskatoon office with some travel to sites will be required. The HSE Administrator will report to the CT&V CEO/COO and hours of work are from Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm (overtime maybe required).

**Job Duties**:

- Collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to review and update company-wide safety policies and procedures to ensure that the CT&V safety program aligns with relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Lead investigations into workplace/site accidents or incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive measures. Maintain detailed records of incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Conduct routine safety inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas/sites to ensure compliance with safety standards and recommend corrective actions.
- Stay informed about safety regulations and standards applicable to the industry to suggest updates and/or communications to CT&V crews.
- Participate in job “kick off” meetings to ensure client health and safety expectations are being met (JHAs, Safety Manual, SDS, SWP, etc).
- Coordinates active WCB claims and monitors provincial WCB accounts.
- Ensure Project Managers have the required safety documentation and forms for the job site.
- Complete safety audits.
- Provide to the Construction Manager safety statistics with trends and suggestions for corrective actions.
- Keep all safety tracking software updated with appropriate information (ISNetworld, Avetta, etc).
- Responsible for the tracking of all safety training for the company and proactively working with crew members to book required training.
- Booking of site required drug & alcohol testing for crew members.
- Updating the Safety SharePoint site with the current information and communicating with the Construction Manager to roll out required information.

**Qualifications**:

- Safety Administration Designation Required.
- 3-5 years of related work experience. Mining and/or commercial and/or industrial construction industry experience, an asset.
- Current Construction Safety Officer (CSO), or National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO), an asset.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
- Familiarity with ISNetworld, Comply-Works, Avetta
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work within a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
