We are looking for a Full Time ECE to join our team as Program Coordinator, this role will be responsible to travel between our 10 locations across Calgary and Airdrie, ensuring the programs are in compliance with licensing regulations and are creating a Reggio-inspired atmosphere that is rich in developmentally appropriate learning experiences and are responsive to the needs, interests and abilities of our students.

**Must have a level 2 or 3 certificate**

**A Day in the Life as a Program Coordinator**:As a Program Coordinator, you will work side-by-side with all 10 of our centres and their educators to ensure they are providing a home away from home for the children in their care and adhering to licensing regulations at all times.

Some of the duties include, but are not limited to the following:

- Ensuring and/or supporting staff in creating an environment that provides our students with open-ended learning opportunities that are thoughtfully planned to provoke exploration and discovery
- Ensuring and/or supporting staff to create an environment that nurtures independence, freedom, and choice. Help staff set the stage so their classroom is Inviting, welcoming and responsive to their needs, interests, and abilities
- Ensuring staff are Implementing lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development, based on the needs, interest and abilities of the children
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each center in order to support the staff in all their programming needs
- Ensuring all centres are in compliance with Alberta Child Care licensing regulations

**Qualifications**:
We are looking for someone who has:

- An Early Childhood Education Certification Level 2 or 3 and has at least 3 years of experience in the child care industry
- An up to date police clearance and first aid
- A passion for early childhood education
- A flexible schedule and willing to travel between Calgary and Airdrie
- An ability to create a positive environment for children while also providing quality care
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A growth mind-set and a passion for creating a fun environment
- A strong understanding of Reggio Emilia
- Complete knowledge of current licensing regulations
