We are seeking an experienced Construction Site Foreman to join our team and oversee the daily operations of a construction site. The Construction Site Foreman will be responsible for supervising skilled and unskilled workers, ensuring that all safety regulations are followed, coordinating workflow, and ensuring that all deadlines are met.
**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise skilled and unskilled workers on the construction site and ensure that all safety regulations are followed
- Coordinate and manage workflow to ensure all deadlines are met
- Plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to the construction site
- Ensure that all materials, tools, and equipment are available and in good working condition
- Monitor the progress of the construction project and make adjustments as necessary
- Ensure that all workers are on task and adhere to company policies and standards
- Resolve any issues that arise on the site
- Perform inspections of the work to ensure quality control
- Maintain detailed daily reports of all activities on the construction site
- Prepare and submit weekly reports to the management
Qualifications:
- 5+ years
- Previous experience in a site management role an asset
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $28.00-$40.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Nanaimo, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- carpentry: 5 years (preferred)
- Site Management: 1 year (preferred)
