**Role Summary**:
Reporting to the Logistics Supervisor, this individual will lead a team of Drive-away service Drivers, maintain responsibility for the safe operation of vehicles to and from assigned destinations across Ottawa and surrounding areas. This includes ensuring safety, best practices and road readiness before vehicles are moved. We are looking for a Driver in one of these following cities; Milton, Guelph, Cambridge and Kitchener.

**What You Will Do**:

- Effectively coordinate the chase crew of Drivers.
- Ensure the compound has sufficient support to perform additional duties when vehicle deliveries are not being made.
- Responsible for the safe operation of all vehicles moved.
- Prioritize communications with Dispatch, Shuttle Drivers, and Lot Locations to ensure timely pickup and delivery of vehicles.
- Locate and identify vehicles by VIN and Year/Make/Model/Trim amongst large and expansive compounds or lots.
- Ensure vehicles are road ready and willing to work in all-weather environments; this may include removal of weather-related obstacles on both the vehicle and its surroundings.
- Adhere to all MTO driving regulations and speed limits to ensure safe vehicle operation.
- Move and park vehicles, within compounds or lots, in a safe and orderly fashion.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork on a timely basis.
- Provide the highest level of customer service to clients and team members.
- Check-in and check-out vehicles in accordance with operational procedures.
- Control release of vehicles with approval and filing of vehicle release forms.
- Enter vehicle arrival and departure information into EBlock’s operations system.
- Maintain secure storage of vehicles and vehicle keys at lot locations
- Other duties as assigned

**What You Will Need**:

- Industry experience of minimum of 2 years. _Wholesale auto auction experience preferred._
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5+ years driving with full “G” licence.
- Familiarity with general office procedures, completing forms and documentation.
- Effective customer service and organizational skills required.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance, color and depth perception.
- Must possess Valid Ontario “G” drivers’ license and clean Drivers Abstract upon request.
- Must be able to operate manual and/or clutch-driven transmission vehicles

**Working Conditions**:

- Extensive Travel is required
- Work Environment Outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to walk medium to long distances during the workday.
- Physical requirements to enter and exit a vehicle repeatedly.
- May lift objects around 40 lbs
- Overtime as required
