Selwyn House School is looking for a full-time maintenance worker:

- Reports to the Director of Building Operations
- Works with second in command.
- Hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00 am - 3:00 pm (Full-time, 35 hours per week). One-hour paid break (2 x 15 minutes and 30 minutes at lunch).
- Must be professional, punctual, have excellent time management skills and be a team player.
- Duties include but not limited to:

- Set-up and tear down of chairs and tables for various school functions (Approx.4 per day during the school year, up to 300 chairs per time)
- Package distribution throughout school daily
- Summer month maintenance; mow lawn and maintain grounds, recycling bin removal and placement throughout school
- Winter month maintenance; Assist in the clearing of snow and ice from school stairs and walkways
- Other maintenance tasks; painting, plastering, moving of desks and furniture
- Prioritizes the school's waste management goals and objectives
- Believes in minimizing the impact of waste and protecting the environment
- Willing to engage in environmentally sustainable strategies alongside administration, staff and students

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
