**Looking for a Full-Time non-student meat cutter.**:
We’re looking for talented colleagues who are passionate about providing an exceptional shopping experience for customers and delighting them every step of the way

**Primary Responsibility**

The meat cutter is responsible to meet the store’s cutting standards and to ensure the quality of products meets with store standards within Common labour expectations.

Responsible to follow the occupational health and safety act. Must protect his or her own health and safety by working in compliance with the law and with safe work practices and procedures established by the company. Responsible to report both incidents/accidents and illnesses and review all Occupational Health and Safety policies for a safer, healthier workplace.

**Primary Tasks.**
- **Promote in-store services.**:

- ** Encourage and maintain department sales goals.**:

- ** To cut meat according to sales requirements.**:

- ** To store meat on trays in an orderly fashion in preparation for wrapping.**:

- ** To wrap and price meat on trays as required.**:

- ** To clean the work area ensuring the sanitation of the department meets with the store standards.**:

- ** To follow the store safety procedures at all times.**:

- ** To respond to any customer inquiries or requests maintaining courteous customer relations at all times.**:

- ** Receive and verify incoming orders.**:

- ** Understands tares and labelling according to government regulations.**:

- ** General Clean up.**:

- ** Other tasks as assigned**

**Areas of competency**
- ** Able to meet needs and demands of customers in a friendly and efficient manner**:

- ** Preferably be a certified Meat Cutter/Butcher**:

- ** 2-3 years previous experience cutting meat.**:

- ** Demonstrate commitment to customer relations**:

- ** In-depth product knowledge**:

- ** Understand the store’s policies and procedures**:

- ** Bilingual in English and French an asset**:

- ** Able to work as a member of a team and support the execution of team goals.**

**Job Qualifications**:
**You must be available for the required shift(s) and be able to lift up to 50lbs depending on the department.**
