**POSITION PURPOSE**

This position will assist in all aspects of maintenance, including equipment and building repairs, some mechanical, welding, and electrical, indoor and outdoor work, using forklift/skid-steer, and lifts, including other duties as required. This job is for a reliable, hard working individual with the ability to work independently and efficiently while being focused on Safety and Continuous improvement aspects.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Working in a safe manner and following all safety rules.
- Utilizing pneumatic tools, electric tools, forklifts, skid-steer and lift. Welding also an asset. Disassembly and Re-assembly also are key.
- Complete assigned work within given timeframe.
- Keep all work areas including part storage area clean and organized, emptying scrap and garbage containers as necessary
- Cleaning and maintaining work tools and equipment.
- Cleaning and maintaining safety equipment.
- Takes initiative and is a self starter.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple duties/projects at one time, work independently with mínimal supervision, and resolve conflict in a professional manner.
- Maintains open communication and a team-oriented work environment with all departments and all levels of personnel.
- Demonstrates flexibility and professionalism throughout the day.
- Adhere to all start / end times including break and lunch schedules.
- Willingness to work in other areas of the facility as required
- Working in a safe manner and following all safety rules.
- Maintain compliance with laws, regulations and/or standards and complete appropriate documentation as required.
- Maintain clean workplace.
- Use of power tools to perform required tasks
- Lift heavy material/equipment by hand on occasion (safely and with help when necessary)
- Complete assigned work within given timeframe and according to specifications
- Keep all work areas including part storage area clean and organized, emptying scrap and garbage containers as necessary
- Performs additional duties as deemed necessary
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple duties/projects at one time, work independently with mínimal supervision, and resolve conflict in a professional manner.

**QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Preferred: High school diploma or GED from an accredited school system or program
- Preferred: 6 months of related experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Possess knowledge of and ability to identify and work with machining tools / equipment
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks
- Position requires physical requirements including lifting, pushing/pulling, lifting, bending/stretching and standing.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
