**Responsibilities**:

- The primary responsibility is to ensure a high-quality sample analysis delivered in a timeline and supervision of the Chemistry laboratory.
- Implement appropriate quality measures to meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 17025, government regulations, Company guidelines and client expectations.
- Lead the verification and validation of non-routine methods and draft the report for authorization.
- Check and review the test reports issued by the Chemistry laboratory.
- Oversee daily lab operations including employee leadership, process control, quality improvement, innovation through information technology.
- Ensure all regulatory procedures pertaining to sample testing are followed correctly.
- Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant to responsibilities, including quality manual, SOPs, methods, and local policies.
- Adhere to appropriate quality measures, which meet or exceed the standards set by government regulation and company requirements.
- Follow all company guidelines and procedures relevant to assigned duties.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environment regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Doctorate degree in chemistry preferred
- Sound knowledge of analytical chemistry, familiar with the use of analytical equipment such as balance, pH meter and UV-Vis, or HPLC and GC
- A thorough knowledge of the various chromatography methods used for protein purification.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers
- Experience in a chemical testing environment
- Five years of experience in a commercial food-testing laboratory or commercial laboratory
- Ability to adapt in pressured situations and keep a positive attitude
- With overtime as needed.

**Work Time**:

- Work on site in-person full-time

**On Board Date: ASAP**

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
