Overview:
Reporting to the Slot Supervisor/Slot Duty Manager a Slot Attendant will ensure they promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service and respect to all the guests, associates, and AGLC personnel.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensure the guest is being provided with superior customer service
- A passion for excellent service and the organization’s vision
- Commitment to learning what our customers' needs and wants are.
- Encourage mutual accountability in service and inspiring others
- Ensure the slot floor meets desired presentation for our guests throughout hours of operation.
- Willingness to discover opportunities to exceed the customer's expectations
- Ability to grasp instructions
- Uphold a teamwork experience offering assistance where available or when requested.
- Ability to accept responsibility readily and grasp instructions
- Adhering to policies and procedures outlined on the slot floor
- Administering hand pays and jackpots, bill exchanges with guests, machine maintenance; will include diagnosis of machine malfunctions, ticket game, and game diagnostics
- Responsible for balancing assigned daily cash float
- Identifying and report counterfeit bills
- Responsible for the initial response to customer complaints, claims, and inquiries
- Ensuring all slot operations are in compliance with AGLC terms and conditions
- Monitor and report risk and safety concerns to ensure a safe environment for both associates and guests.
- Support and communicate with all associates on the casino gaming floor
- Daily execution of assigned operational goals and objectives
- Ensure the slot floor meets desired presentation for our guests, sections are clean and tidy throughout hours of operation
- Actively promote the Casino’s Resort Club
- Responsible for slot machine box pulls
- Ability to grasp instructions and adjust to changing conditions
- Uphold a teamwork appearance offering assistance where available or when requested
- Maintain an updated AGLC gaming workers license
- Ability to walk for long periods at a time
- Practices operational efficiencies
- Ability to accept responsibility readily
- To look out for the safety of yourself, co-workers and to follow all Health and Safety requirements in the workplace.
- All other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Slot experience is an asset
- Cash handling is a definite asset
- High School Diploma an asset
- Must be able to register with AGLC
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic math (counting currency)
The schedule for this position may vary and would require the ability to work shift work, late nights, weekends and holidays.
