Job Title: Optometrist in Okanagan, British Columbia

Job Summary:
We are seeking an Optometrist to join our team in the beautiful Okanagan region of British Columbia. As an Optometrist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive eye care services to patients of all ages, diagnosing and treating visual disorders, prescribing glasses and contact lenses, and referring patients for further medical treatment as necessary. The position requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct comprehensive eye exams and visual assessments
- Diagnose and treat visual disorders, including prescribing corrective lenses, vision therapy, and other treatments as needed.
- Consult with patients regarding their visual needs and recommend appropriate eyewear or vision solutions.
- Provide post-operative care to patients who have undergone eye surgery
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as ophthalmologists and primary care physicians, to provide coordinated care.
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current with the latest advancements in optometry.

Qualifications:

- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited optometry program
- Current licensure to practice optometry in British Columbia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
