**Job brief**
We are seeking an enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The bartender is responsible for crafting quality drinks in a timely manner, adding to the overall guest experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Be very familiar with the food and beverage menu
- Operate a POS system, handle cash, make change, etc.
- Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for guests
- Check customers’ ID and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
- Answer the phone, kindly assist callers in making reservations, placing takeout orders as needed, or answering general questions
- Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol control policies
- Ensure a tidy workspace and maintain daily cleaning duties

**Requirements and skills**
- Previous experience working in a restaurant setting
- Experience working as a bartender is an asset
- Knowledge of wine and beer varieties, mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
- Organized and time managed
- Able to work in a standing position for long periods
- Able to resolve conflict and maintain a high level of professionalism
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts (evenings and weekends)
- Access to reliable transportation
