The beloved classic _Charlotte's Web_ is returning to the screen in high quality, stylized CG Our talented crew is helping to create the definitive version of this timeless story produced by Sesame Workshop for HBO Max.

We’re searching for a talented **3D FX Lead **to join our _Charlotte's Web_ crew

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and mentor FX team
- Work with the creative team to develop the overall look and approach for the project
- Assign tasks, review shots, and provide feedback to FX team
- Collaborate with the asset team to create FX shots such as dust, rain, fire, cloth, etc. using Houdini
- Work closely with Production on FX breakdowns and shot assignments
- Complete assigned tasks on schedule, ensuring deadlines are met
- Communicate risks and challenges to Production team
- Create FX with a sense of timing for animation
- Work closely with asset team to generate solutions

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years as an FX Lead or Supervisor in an Animation Production Setting in television or film
- Strong leadership skills
- In depth knowledge of Houdini
- Knowledge of Maya and Redshift is an asset
- Knowledge of CFX is a major asset
- In depth knowledge of rendering and compositing strategies is a plus
