**QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES**
- Working out of Green-Port Environmental (GPE) Georgetown, Ontario facility
- **Must** have valid **Ontario DZ Driver's** License with a suitable drivers abstract
- Previous experience operating a **Vacuum Truck**:

- Previous environmental or related experience an asset
- Willingness to work occasional weekends and potentially overnight/out of town within Ontario.
- Majority of the work is within a 3-4 hour radius of Georgetown, Ontario (our facility)
- Professional, trustworthy with a health & safety focus
- Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable means of personal transportation

**Job description**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Provide vacuum tanker services when required. Example draining transformers at customer owned locations, delivering loads of oil to end receivers, and other draining tasks.
- Complete Pre and/or Post trip daily inspections and determine required maintenance of GPE’s vacuum truck
- Follow safe driving practices, abide by all provincial traffic laws. Report any violations immediately.
- Inspection and maintain hoses, fittings, and associated equipment before use.
- Manifesting using RPRA digital reporting service (formerly HWIN) and other required documentation such as Bills of Lading.
- When not driving the vacuum truck, there is a potential for deliveries and pick up of other Non-hazardous or Hazardous materials for waste (i.e., paint, batteries and other miscellaneous items)
- When not making deliveries, flexibility to dismantle or drain transformers and electrical equipment at GPE’s facility
- Excellent with customer interactions on sites

**Salary**: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 44 per week
