**Drapery Seamstress**

We are looking for an experienced Drapery Seamstress for our client located in North York. The client’s the is the manufacturer of Doors and Windows.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fabricate drapery panels, valances, and other window treatments according to specifications and client requirements.
- Operate industrial sewing machines to sew, hem, and finish drapery fabrics with precision.
- Cut and measure fabric accurately to minimize waste and ensure optimal use of materials.
- Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, making any necessary adjustments or repairs.
- Collaborate with designers, decorators, and other team members to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including routine maintenance of sewing machines and equipment.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and others.
- Meet production deadlines and quotas while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.
- Continuously seek opportunities for skill development and improvement in drapery fabrication techniques.

**Requirements**:

- Must have sewing experience.
- Must have experience with industrial sewing machines.
- Must be proficient with imperial measurements (adding & subtracting fractions).
- Must be able to communicate effectively.

**Location**: North York

**Shift time**: 8 am to 4:30 pm (Full-time)

**Pay Rate**: $18/hr to $20/hr (depending upon experience)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift

**Experience**:

- industrial sewing: 1 year (required)
