Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to our customers, handling transactions, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

**Duties**:

- Greet customers with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system to process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit card, and other forms of payment
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with locating products and answering inquiries
- Provide product recommendations and upsell when appropriate
- Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions, discounts, and company policies

**Experience**:

- Previous cashiering or customer service experience preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficiency in English; multilingual skills are a bonus
- Strong time management skills

**Requirements**:

- Must be able to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members

Pay: From $17.02 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 15 per week
