Freezer Picker

**General Accountability**

Reporting directly to the Logistics Manager, the Logistics support personnel are responsible for any duties that are laid out by the Logistics Manager. The work is in our Freezer and is cold.

**Specific Accountabilities**:

- Pick orders
- Clean and organize as asked
- Wrap skids/ensure wrapping is adequate to ship across the country
- Load and unload trucks
- Follow GMP’s
- Follow company protocol
- Assist with all cleaning related to loading dock, dry storage and cool room
- Ensure orders get to customers in proper condition, use load bars, straps and bulk heads as necessary
- Ensure pick-ups are accurate in count and quality
- Assist with picking as needed-operating machine forklift or pallet jack
- Assist with putting away new inventory and verifying counts are accurate
- Report maintenance issues to Shipping Manager
- Oil doors on trucks weekly
- Liaise with customers/outside truck drivers in the most professional manner
- Report any customer complaints to Operation Manager, Order desk Coordinator and/or President
- All orders are picked and leaving accurately
- Must follow Health and Safety guidelines as laid out in company policy
- Must follow GMP’s as laid out in company policy
- Must follow all company SOP’s
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications, Education, Experience**:

- Lift Truck certification
- reach, counter balance experience necessay
- High School education

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour
