Pharmacy Assistant

BMC Pharmacy is an independently owned small pharmacy chain with locations in Sarnia and Chatham.
The BMC Pharmacy team consists of local, community based pharmacists focused on helping patients optimize their health outcomes. We offer patients the latest in medication initiatives, convenient hours of operation, and one on one consultations in our private consultation rooms.
BMC Pharmacy deals with addiction services, so the applicant should have a good understanding Methadone and Suboxone. Empathy and respect for patients is a must.
As a Pharmacy Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Perform administrative tasks, including answering phones, receiving and inputting prescription orders, operating cash, and restocking inventory.
- Gather, organize, and assesses patient information.
- Supply patients with information and education on their prescriptions.
- This position requires very good communication skills and the ability to multitask in a high paced medical environment.
- A dedication to patient first service.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $16.50-$20.00 per hour
