**Position**: Press Operator Trainee

We are looking for a dedicated individual with a keen eye for detail and a strong mechanical inclination to join our team as a Press Operator Trainee. The Press Operator Trainee will learn to set up and operate a rotary flexographic press, ensuring high-quality production and efficient operations. **Requirements**:

- Interpret Docket Instructions: Understand and follow detailed instructions for each print job.
- Press Setup: Configure press functions according to docket specifications.
- Install Print Cylinders and Plates: Mount print cylinders and printing plates accurately.
- Die Installation: Install dies as required for each job.
- Ink Management: Fill ink fountains and maintain color consistency to meet customer specifications.
- Adjust Impressions: Set the impression of plates and anilox rollers to ensure accurate ink transfer and printing.
- Material Handling: Load various materials onto the infeed and manage finished products, whether in rolls, sheets, or fan-folded formats.
- Press Operation: Start up the press, adjust print and die registration, and manage roll tension as necessary.
- Quality Control: Inspect product samples for imperfections after every roll or box.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to registration, die cuts, and print quality.
- Maintenance: Lubricate and maintain the press units and components.
- Communication: Relay important information to supervisors and the next shift operator.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned to support press operations.

**Qualifications**:

- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1-2 years in a similar role.
- Skills: Mechanical aptitude, proficiency in math and English.
